WELCOME TO Evening Star Chapter No. 20
We, the members of Evening Star Chapter No. 20 of Havre de Grace, Maryland, a constituent Chapter of Myra Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Prince Hall Affiliated and under the auspices of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Maryland and its Jurisdictions, Inc., welcome you to our website. We are a fraternal and social organization comprised of persons with spiritual values, but it is not a religion. Its appeal rests in the true beauty of the refreshing and character-building lessons that are so sincerely portrayed in its ritualistic work. A deep fraternal bond exists between its members. It is the wholesome relationship of sisterly and brotherly love brought about through high principles exemplified in our lives which makes us near and dear to each other.
While this is an Order composed of people of deep spiritual convictions, it is open to all faiths, except no faith. The personal welfare of our members is vital to all of those in the Eastern Star, and it is considered a privilege to help another member whenever we can.
It is our hope that your visit to our site will be insightful and give you an appreciation for what we do for our community and for all those that need a helping hand in life. If you have any questions about what we do or who we are, please feel free to contact us.

What an awesome prayer breakfast. I really felt the spirit of God move in this place,
through prayer, song and the praise dancers.

I have not danced like that in years. Last year’s Evening of Elegance (the roaring 20’s) was the best ever.
We laughed, danced and looked good while doing it. I can’t wait to see what is in store for the next event.
