We, the members of Evening Star Chapter No. 20, endeavor to promote charity and benevolence, among all Masonic and Civic organizations within the 7th OES District; To fully support the Mission, Vision, Goals, Objectives and Actions of Myra Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Prince Hall Affiliated, Maryland and Its Jurisdictions; and establish and sustain a positive relationship with the many communities of Harford County, Maryland.
That Evening Star Chapter No. 20 be a vibrant part of the Harford County Community and to be recognized as precedent-setting and innovative in our community stewardship and charitable benevolence to all mankind.
- That we develop a scholarship program and provide scholarships to students in our community based on established criteria.
- That we increase in membership by 10% prior to the end of each OES year.
- That we increase the Chapter’s financial solvency by 10% from previous OES years.
We Respect our community, the residents, and all those we serve by the exercise of sisterly and brotherly love, and invite their participation in support of our mission.
Truth, sincerity and plain dealing distinguish us in our relationships with those we serve and the community in which we serve.
Our Charity is found in the gathering of resources to provide relief to our members, their families and the general public in distress.
By practicing good Stewardship with our resources, we preserve our future and expand our charity.
Through these values we will provide Distinguished Service and Charitable Relief and thereby be recognized as the most outstanding Eastern Star Chapter within Myra Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Stars of Maryland and its Jurisdictions.
